This is a video of how to do a back handspring on beam. This an important skill for all gymnasts level seven and above.
This is a video of me doing a full turn on beam. This full turn is pretty good, but there are points where I can improve. First my arms need to be tighter, they are lose and that is something the judges will reduce your score on. Next, my foot that I kick in the beginning with is not pointed and my leg is not straight. I also need to make sure that my foot is attached to my knee when I spin. And last I need to make my finish sharper, bringing my head up and my arms behind my ears.
This is a very basic front tuck dismount. This is not a very good example of this dismount for a couple of reasons. First I drop my chest right when I take off. This messes up the whole skill. I need to bring my chest up making it higher and easier to land. My form also needs work. My toes need to be pointed and my finish needs to be sharper.
This is a back tuck off the end of the beam. Normally you will have a round off, a cartwheel, a back walkover, or a back handspring in front of this skill. With this skill there are two very important things you must remember to do. First spot and set. Spot something on the wall and watch as long as you can before you flip. To set you need to ride to the top of the jump before you flip. If you do these two things this skill will be very easy. There are always little things you can fix, such as your form, so never think a skill is perfect because you can always make it better.
